This free standing stove installation involved a comprehensive rebuild of the existing fireplace to deliver the finish our client wanted. We completely removed the existing fireplace, hearth and fireback and enlarged the opening so we could recess the stove fully. We fitted a new hearth and clad the fire recess with reclaimed bricks and built two pillars which we plastered and then topped with a reclaimed timber mantle. Finished with dimmable spot lights.
