Do you only install Viessmann Gas Boilers and Grant Oil Boilers?
After over a decade of installing, services and repairs gas and oil boilers we have come to the conclusion that Viessmann and Grant Boilers are the best, most reliable and efficient boilers. And, as importantly, they also have the best technical support in the Irish market. If you have already decided on another manufacturer we would be happy to install the boiler of your choice.
Do you Service and Repair all makes of gas and oil boilers?
Yes, we service and repair all makes of domestic gas and oil boilers.
How long will it take to replace my boiler?
We replace the boiler within one day. We then flush out your heating system to make your system as efficient as possible. And, more importantly, because your boiler manufacturer’s warranty states that your heating system needs to be flushed out during installation for them to be able to stand over the warranty.
Flushing out your heating system is carried out the day after installation and can take up to a day, depending on the system.
What is the warranty period on the boilers?
All our gas and oil boilers are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Typically oil boilers carry a 2 year warranty and gas boilers carry a 5 year warranty. We will advise you of the warranty period, and its terms and conditions, before installation.
Can I get a grant for my boiler installation?
Yes, there are two grants available, SEAI and EITAS. The grants are available for the installation of a High Efficiency (> 90%) Gas or Oil Fired Boilers with Heating Controls Upgrade OR for Heating Controls Upgrade.
This means to get the grant you need have a range of additional works carried out, including:
- Zoning your heating system to have separate hot water and heating control
- Installing of thermostatic radiator valves to carry out
- Installation of a bypass valve and upgrade of your electrical earth cable to 10mm square cable throughout the house.
- Timer fitted to your electrical immersion.
On completion you will need to have an independent BER assessor call to your property and issue a BER cert.

Why Should I Replace My Radiator Valves to Thermostatic Radiator Valves?
Thermostatic radiator valves will cut your energy costs and allow you to set different temperatures in each room. This will give your home a more comfortable feel and make your heating system more cost-effective.
When Should I Upgrade My Hot Water Cylinder?
If you have an non-insulated copper cylinder you should upgrade straight-away. If you have an insulated copper cylinder but you want to keep your heated water hot for longer, and have a quicker reheat time, you should upgrade to either the EnviroFoam Stainless Steel Vented Cylinder or the Gledhill Norman Stainless Steel Unvented Cylinder.
